Shilo Sanders Faces Bankruptcy Trial Today

Shilo Sanders, the former star player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is set to appear in federal bankruptcy court today. This trial comes months after he ceased training and effectively retired from professional football. A key issue at stake is whether Sanders’ significant debt of $11.89 million can be discharged in this legal proceeding.

A pretrial statement filed by the parties in the case, states that Shilo Sanders “contends that his actions were justified in that any force used by (Sanders) was reasonable and immediately necessary to protect himself against (Darjean’s) own use or attempted use of improper force, according to reports. A few months ago, on his YouTube as fans asked whether he has retired, Shilo Sanders said, “You don’t give up on playing in the NFL, bro. John Darjean has accused Shiloh Sanders that he was physically assaulted by the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ player and was permanently injured. The altercation happened as he tried to confiscate Shilo Sanders’ phone since his father, Deion Sanders, requested for it. the judge has asked him to be available on 4th September While Shilo Sanders’ legal team has stated that Deion Sanders will not be required to testify. If they don’t call me to get on the team, I cannot play. What do you want me to do? Force them to say, ‘Hey, bro, sign me. It don’t work like that. Y’all quit asking me that stupid question.
