This included new GTA 6-themed DualSense controllers, a new look at Marvel’s Wolverine, the release date for Final Fantasy VII Revelation, and an expansion for Ghost of Yotei. Sony also announced Maneater 2, showed gameplay from Metro 2039 and revealed new details about Until Dawn 2. ​ The presentation was followed by a separate State of Play Japan broadcast, which included new footage of Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance and several other games. ​ ​ ​ Sony announced two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI: a black model and a white model. ​ Both controllers are scheduled to launch on November 19 for $84.99, ¥12,480, €84.99 or £74.99. It is scheduled for November 5, 2026. ​ ​ Sloclap announced a Rematch collaboration with the football anime Blue Lock. The crossover begins on September 24 and includes characters such as Yoichi Isagi, Meguru Bachira, Seishiro Nagi and Rin Itoshi. ​ ​ Fate/Extra Record is coming to PS5 and PS4 on January 28, 2027. ​ ​ The Eminence in Shadow: Phantom Echoes received its first trailer during State of Play Japan. ​ ​ Square Enix showed new footage of Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World, including a look at one of its villains. ​ ​ Several previously discussed PlayStation projects did not appear during the presentation, an IGN report claims.

A storm also features in the sequence shown during the presentation. ​ ​ Pearl Abyss announced Chartering the Unknown, downloadable content for Crimson Desert. ​ The trailer showed new content and systems, including what appeared to be base-building and underwater exploration. ​ Sony ‘s September State of Play brought announcements and updates for several PlayStation games and gaming accessories. The game follows a mage named Ellie who uses magic as part of her combat combos, alongside Beast abilities. ​ ​ Konami also showed more of Rev. Noir, including footage running on PS5 Pro.
