Pune: NCP (SP) working president Supriya Sule on Thursday demanded state security for her nephew, MLA Rohit Pawar , after he raised some questions related to Ajit Pawar ’s death in a plane crash on Jan 28.

She said, “I am worried for Rohit. He brought some sensitive facts to the fore and posed some serious questions. Considering the sensitive nature of the issue, I request the state govt to provide security to Rohit, and the chief minister should personally review it. ” After Rohit’s presentation on the plane crash, deputy chief minister Sunetra Pawar and other members of NCP recently met chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and demanded a CBI investigation into the accident.

Ajit Pawar’s younger son, Jay, also raised some issues and demanded an inquiry into the crash on his social media status on Wednesday.

Therefore, I have decided to put a full stop to the issue,” she said.

Baramati MP Supriya said her party, along with Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT), would try to raise the plane crash issue in the Parliament session . Supriya said her party, NCP (SP), would not take any further initiative for the merger of NCPS, after the plan hit a roadblock following Ajit Pawar’s death. “We had demanded a discussion in Parliament, but our demand was not accepted. Once the session commences again, we will try to raise the issue once more. “We (both NCPs) wanted to work together, and even the workers at the grassroots were looking forward to it. However, at present, we have decided not to speak on it. Everyone (from both NCPs) knows the fact, but since some of them are older than me, I do not want to confront them.

We will not stop until we get all the answers,” Supriya told reporters in Pune on Thursday.

Reacting to Jay’s status, Supriya said, “While Rohit is disturbed, both sons (of Ajit Pawar), Parth and Jay, are still in shock.
