Speaking to the media in Nagpur, Sule said, “After protests by Maratha and OBC communities, tribal children have also taken to the streets. Citing the example of the Ladki Bahin scheme, she said, “Names of one crore women have been removed. The CM should hold talks with the affected people and find a way out,” she said. On this, Sule said the govt must take up the responsibility of resolving the issue after an earlier attempt at mediation failed to produce a solution. On education, Sule said children are confused over which exam to prepare for. How can education be affordable for the common man?” she said.
Now, even women are staging protests. Sule pointed out that protests are happening in every district every day. “This means something is missing or wrong. The govt should introspect. Which marks will be considered? Again, an institute has its own entrance exam. Take just one exam that evaluates students properly. Nagpur: NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule on Sunday questioned why protests continued to erupt across Maharashtra despite the govt holding more than a two-thirds majority in the state legislature, and asked chief minister Devendra Fadnavis to continuously engage with communities on the streets, including tribal students agitating over hostel facilities.
