Kanpur: An 18-year-old Class XII student was found hanging at his home in Baripal village under Sajeti police station on Wednesday night. Police are examining his mobile phone after finding some WhatsApp messages deleted and are investigating a possible love affair and other angles.

Police and forensic teams have conducted a thorough examination of the scene, collecting evidence related to the case. Among the items seized was the deceased’s mobile phone, which may provide crucial information. The body has been sent for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.
Anuj Bharti, the officer in charge at Sajeti police station, indicated that initial findings suggest a potential connection to a love affair. However, the family of the deceased has not provided a definitive explanation for the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The deceased was alone at home after his mother and sister went to Swaroop Nagar to get medicines. they called him several times regarding some work, but he did not answer While returning.
