The weather agency has issued yellow warnings for several districts of Odisha till September 13, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall. In Jaipur and surrounding areas, clouds may build during the afternoon on September 12, with thunderstorms and rain possible at some locations. Rainfall activity is expected to increase across parts of the Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Ajmer and Udaipur divisions between September 12 and 16. The Kota-Hadoti region, comprising Kota, Bundi, Baran and Jhalawar, is likely to see increased rainfall activity on September 13 and 14. The IMD has forecast strong surface winds reaching speeds of up to 60 kmph over parts of Andhra Pradesh until September 14. The IMD’s latest forecast points to continued rainfall activity over Delhi and increasing rainfall across parts of Rajasthan from September 12. Odisha is likely to see heavy to very heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds, while parts of Andhra Pradesh may experience strong surface winds until September 14.
