The Spurs forward has purchased a luxury home in the city’s exclusive Dominion community for a reported $2.34 million, just months after signing a new three-year, $45 million contract with the team, according to the San Antonio Business Journal and CultureMap San Antonio. The property had been listed for $3.1 million, making the reported sale price significantly lower than its asking price. The 5,068-square-foot home sits on roughly half an acre inside the gated community in far Northwest San Antonio.

Champagnie Secures Future with Spurs Through 2028-29 Season

The San Antonio Spurs have solidified their commitment to forward Julian Champagnie by signing him to a three-year contract valued at $45 million. This agreement, finalized in June, comes on the heels of Champagnie’s notable performance that contributed to the team reaching the 2026 NBA Finals. The deal ensures that the 25-year-old will remain with the franchise until at least the end of the 2028-29 season.

Champagnie’s Rise as a Key Contributor for the Spurs

Champagnie, who entered the NBA as an undrafted player from St. John’s in 2022, initially signed with the Philadelphia 76ers before transferring to the San Antonio Spurs. He has since established himself as a crucial member of the Spurs’ roster, earning a starting position for the 2023-24 season.

In the 2025-26 season, Champagnie played in all 82 regular-season games, averaging 11.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. His performance solidified his role as one of the team’s leading three-point shooters, highlighting his development and importance to the Spurs’ offensive strategy.
