The fire brigade team after rescuing the trapped worker
Pune: A worker was critically injured and trapped under a mound of debris at BJ Medical College hostel in the wee hours of Wednesday, after an approximately 50-ft-tall water tank suddenly collapsed. The tank fell during work being carried out by Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran.
It had been scheduled for demolition after students at the hostel had complained earlier this week that a portion of the steps leading up to the tank had caved in, deeming the structure hazardous.
The worker’s life was saved thanks to the fire brigade’s prompt action. ” You Can Also Check: Gold Rate in Pune | Silver Rate in Pune | Bank Holidays in Pune | Public Holidays in Pune | Petrol Price in Pune | Diesel Price in Pune | CNG Price in Pune | LPG Price in Pune Stay updated with the latest Pune news.
