Kanpur: A Deepotsav featuring 76,000 lamps was organised at Motijheel in Kanpur on Thursday evening to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi ’s 76th birthday.

Volunteers and youth workers arranged the lamps in large artistic formations depicting Modi and the BJP’s ‘Kamal’ (lotus) symbol, illuminating the venue. Cultural performances were organised showcasing the Prime Minister’s life, leadership and public service journey. Special selfie points were also set up at the venue for visitors.
