The government has approved a budget of Rs 1.50 crore aimed at enhancing educational facilities and student welfare in Lucknow. This funding will be directed towards the expansion and improvement of basic amenities in 15 Sarvodaya schools managed by the social welfare department. The initiative underscores the commitment to bolster educational infrastructure in the region.
Officials said the move is aimed at creating a safer, more modern and student-friendly educational environment in these residential institutions. With access to modern resources, improved laboratories and technology-enabled classrooms, students will gain exposure to contemporary teaching methods, digital learning and experiential education, said a govt spokesperson. The funds will be utilised to upgrade infrastructure in Sarvodaya schools located in Bareilly, Kaushambi, Ayodhya, Lalitpur, Hardoi, Azamgarh, Ballia, Prayagraj, Etawah, Farrukhabad, Banda, Chitrakoot, Jalaun and Rae Bareli. The initiative is designed not only to improve school buildings and facilities but also to support the holistic development of students.
