U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to address the General Assembly on Tuesday, while Iranian official Mohammad Javad Pezeshkian is set to speak on Wednesday. Their overlapping presence in New York has sparked speculation regarding the possibility of direct interactions between the two leaders, according to reports from Reuters and Iran’s semi-official Mehr news agency.
He is also due to meet New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Reuters reported that his schedule includes meetings with the leaders of Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Japan and Iraq, as well as a meeting with Venezuela’s interim President Delcy Rodriguez.
