New Delhi: Delhi BJP president Harsh Malhotra Monday directed the party teams involved with the SIR exercise and all booth-level agents to assist all voters who have received notices from the election office, and also help deleted voters fill Form 6 for re-inclusion.
Around 31.6 lakh registered voters in Delhi have received notices under the Special Intensive Revision exercise for discrepancies in their details. The claims and objections phase is scheduled to end on Sept 30. Because they no longer stay at the same address, out of the 1.45 crore voters on Delhi’s electoral roll, around 47.5 lakh names have been deleted from the SIR draft roll largely.
