“For the past 10 years, Uttar Pradesh is facing a policy paralysis. He claimed the audit showed the PDA community was deprived of 11,000 govt jobs during BJP’s tenure and alleged the state govt had not responded to the audit’s questions. Akhilesh further alleged that papers for more than 20 recruitment examinations had been leaked in Uttar Pradesh and claimed the pattern appeared intended to delay regular appointments and promote outsourcing.
As a result price rise and unemployment are at its peak.
Addressing reporters, Akhilesh said the state had seen little progress on the development front and alleged that inflation and unemployment had reached “peak” levels. Nothing has happened at the development front,” he said, adding that promises of large-scale investments had proved “hollow” and corruption had risen. He also alleged that the ruling party was running a “malicious campaign” using artificial intelligence to target political opponents. But the BJP is using it for negative campaign,” Akhilesh said, without citing specific instances. The SP chief referred to findings of what he termed “PDA Audits” conducted by experts to quantify problems faced by communities he groups under the PDA umbrella. “This is because they know they don’t have the answers,” he said. He also cited alleged corruption in procurement, saying, “What can one expect from a govt which takes commission on fodder for horses. ” Akhilesh said voters would “vote out” BJP in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
“AI should be used in a constructive way. He alleged commissions were being taken from outsourcing companies and linked this to avoiding permanent jobs and reservations.
