The organisers said defence minister Rajnath Singh , deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak and several other public representatives and dignitaries had assured their participation in the Sept 27 event. He also announced plans for a wider campaign aimed at promoting unity and fraternity among different Hindu communities and castes. District-level committees would be formed to coordinate the campaign, with its launch date to be announced later, he said.
Singh said Verma worked to create awareness and organisation among the Kayastha community and added that his life and conduct could serve as an inspiration for others.
