He described the actions of the investigating officer as ‘mala fide,’ suggesting improper motives behind the decision to seek the warrant on the same day the First Information Report (FIR) was filed on July 30. Dave emphasized that Mondal, who traveled abroad on May 23, should not be classified as a ‘fugitive’ or ‘absconding,’ despite the charges brought against him.
