Las Vegas is reportedly not considered an option for hosting the next edition of WrestleMania 43, even if WWE is forced to move the event out of Saudi Arabia . WrestleMania 43 is currently scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027, according to recent reports. As WrestleMania is hosted every year in Las Vegas, the company in 2027 is not considering hosting the annual event in Las Vegas, and has instead selected Saudi Arabia to host the event. WrestleMania 43 is currently scheduled to take place in Riyadh , Saudi Arabia, in 2027, making a move to host the event outside the United States. With WWE still planning to run the event in Saudi Arabia despite current travel concerns, however, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter , sources in Las Vegas have indicated that the city does not have the necessary dates available in April to accommodate WrestleMania 43. Meanwhile, WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel 2026 Premium Live Event, and the third edition of the event will be held on November 7, 2026. The company previously held the Royal Rumble in Riyadh in January and Night of Champions in June, and again in November, it will host Crown Jewel 2026. Previously, reports already suggested that Crown Jewel could be a major development and an important stop on the road toward WrestleMania 43, as Riyadh is scheduled to host WrestleMania in 2027, which will make it the first edition of WWE’s biggest annual event to be held outside the United States or Canada. However, following the plan, WWE has not announced any change to its plans.
The same sources reportedly said Las Vegas is also unable to spend the level of money it previously committed to bringing WrestleMania to the city. Speaking about the same, Meltzer stated, “Regarding rumors of Las Vegas as a back-up plan, sources in Las Vegas who have basically tipped us off on all the Mania decisions as well as issues with the dates that had to be taken care of the past two years well ahead of time, said that the city does not have the dates available in April and is not able to spend the kind of money they have in the past to bring the event in. However, ongoing security concerns in the region have raised questions about whether WWE could eventually need to activate contingency plans. The reason why Vegas could not be considered as the venue is that Vegas does not have the April dates available and isn’t in a position to throw the same kind of money at WWE that it has in the past.
