Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will be joining Fox News from November 1

Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will be joining Fox News from November 1.

Leavitt served as the administration’s chief spokesperson for more than a year and regularly appeared at White House briefings to defend the president’s policies and respond to questions from reporters.

Leavitt served as President Donald Trump’s press secretary from January 2025 until August 2026. Before joining the White House, she worked on Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and served as a spokesperson for MAGA Inc.

“Karoline’s firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today’s political landscape,” Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said in announcing the appointment. Leavitt said she was grateful for the opportunity to become an official member of the Fox News Media team. “I look forward to bringing my unique perspective from my experience as White House Press Secretary, along with the same energy and candor that defined my tenure, to Fox’s millions of viewers across their many platforms,” she said. President Trump, while announcing her departure, said he understood and respected her decision to spend more time with her family.

She became the youngest person in US history to hold the position. He also indicated that Leavitt would remain an outside adviser. Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has a distinct understanding of today’s political landscape — as Leavitt finalizes her next career move as a contributor to the channel in less than two months after she left the Trump administration.
