CM Suvendu Adhikari on Monday announced that the stone-laying ceremony of the project would be held on Oct 28. The company has got 30 acres of land at Haringhata for the integrated food park. The CM said state govt was in no hurry with the policy and will not announce it before the Pujas as inaugurations would begin from Mahalaya (Oct 10).

Sources close to the development said this would be the first integrated food park in the eastern region to be owned by RCPL. “We will be holding a Bijoya Sammelani programme on Oct 26 and there will be food stalls of all districts with their specialised products,” Adhikari said. Campa has manufacturing facilities across the country.
