Dindigul: CB-CID police arrested two more people, including a suspended employee from the sub-registrar’s office and a lawyer, in the case pertaining to fraudulent registration of the 1.4-acre land valued at Rs100 crore, belonging to Palani Murugan Temple.

Police said they would subsequently be produced before a court for remand proceedings. The arrested were identified as Sivasankari, a junior assistant at the sub-registrar’s office who had already been placed under suspension, and Sivakumar , an advocate, who allegedly assisted intermediary Jayaprakash in the transaction. Sivasankari and Sivakumar were taken to the Dindigul Government Medical College Hospital for medical examination.
