Ahmedabad: The Admission Committee for Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC), Gujarat, has announced the schedule for online registrations for admission to first-year MD, MS and post-graduate diploma medical courses for the 2026-27 academic year.

Applications have been invited from candidates who have qualified in NEET-PG 2026 and meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by National Medical Commission and the Gujarat state admission rules. Online purchase of the PIN for registration will remain open till 3pm on Oct 8, while registrations and document uploading will be available till 5pm the same day. Candidates will have to complete document verification and submit photocopies of the required documents at designated help centres between Oct 3 and Oct 9. For online registration, candidates will have to pay Rs 3,000 as a non-refundable registration fee and Rs 25,000 as a refundable security deposit, taking the total payment to Rs 28,000. The admission committee has established 17 help centres across Gujarat for document verification and submission of photocopies. The committee has also restricted appointments to 20 candidates per hour at each help centre. The 2025-26 intake data lists 2,946 state-quota PG medical seats.

Admissions will be conducted for govt, management and NRI seats in govt and self-financed medical colleges across the state. Verification will be done from 10am to 4pm. Help centres will remain closed on Sundays and govt holidays, while Saturday working hours will be from 10am to noon. To avoid overcrowding at the centres, candidates will be required to obtain an online appointment.
