A woman travelling from Ahmedabad to Goa said Star Air cancelled her 10.30am flight, S5 424, and shifted her to a flight scheduled around 5.30pm. In a video on social media, she is heard saying, “The revised flight was expected to reach Goa around 8.30-9pm, while her final destination was located a considerable distance from the airport. Because she would be travelling alone at night, the passenger said she asked Star Air staff for cab or transport assistance.

Staff told her that the airline would not provide a cab facility or assistance for her onward journey, according to her. Departures to London, Delhi, Goa, Jamnagar and Kolkata were among those delayed, with Delhi-bound services accounting for several disruptions. Departures for Jodhpur and Diu were cancelled, while an arrival from Diu was also cancelled. The disruption also left some passengers facing difficulties with onward connections. Several incoming flights were delayed, including services from Delhi, Mumbai and Abu Dhabi. The disruptions came as persistent rain lashed Ahmedabad through the day, affecting visibility and slowing airport operations. Passengers faced delays as airlines adjusted flight schedules amid the weather conditions. Among the affected sectors, Delhi saw multiple disruptions on both departures and arrivals, while services connecting Ahmedabad with Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, Jamnagar, Kolkata, London, Jodhpur and Diu were also affected.
