NEW DELHI: A 21-year-old woman was found stabbed to death inside her home in west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar on Wednesday evening, police said. She was rushed to a hospital after police received a PCR call about the incident. Doctors declared her dead on arrival. Police have also raided the gym where the suspect worked and his home. His family members and friends have been questioned as part of the investigation.
Suspect flees after killing
“A woman, around 21 years of age, was stabbed to death when she was alone at her residence.
The woman and the suspect had known each other for around one-and-a-half years, according to police. CCTV footage is being examined and police investigation is under way,” a senior police officer said. Police have identified Imran, a gym trainer, as the main suspect. He fled after the incident, prompting multiple police teams to launch a search for him.
