New Delhi: Delhi police conducted its weekly jan sunwai session at Maurya Enclave police station Saturday in the presence of LG Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu, which was attended by over 250 people. LG interacted with members of the public and personally heard their grievances.

Since its inception in June 2026, a total of 1,309 sessions of Thana Divas–Jansunwai have been held, during which 10 thousand complaints have been resolved. More than 11 thousand people have attended the sessions. The initiative provides citizens with a direct forum to raise their concerns and seek assistance from the police every Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.

The presence of senior officers, as mandated by the scheme, ensures effective supervision and facilitates the expeditious resolution of grievances, thereby strengthening public confidence in the grievance redressal mechanism, said a police statement. Download the TOI App.
