“When I first read the story, it had a very Panchatantra feeling to it,” said the director of the play, Vikrant Singh, recalling that they were populated with characters such as dragons, kings, traitors and fairies. During the rehearsals, they developed the dialogues themselves,” said Dr Mariann Erdő, Director, Liszt Institute – Hungarian Cultural Centre. The young performers said they had no difficulty in coming up with the dialogues; in fact, it was the easiest part of the play. That was both fun and easy,” said Aditya, one of the actors.

“We were given a page-long story, and pretty soon all of us together came up with the dialogues. Performed by the children from MIMA NGO and presented by the Liszt Institute — Hungarian Cultural Centre Delhi at Triveni Kala Sangam on Wednesday, the tales had a familiar ring to them.
