New Delhi: Two bodies, including the headless body of a newborn, were found in separate incidents in outer Delhi, prompting police to initiate investigations into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
Police said the body had visible injury marks on the neck and chest. In the first incident, the headless body of a newborn was found in the Kanjhawala area Monday. Police received information about the body lying in Mubarakpur Dabas area, following which a team reached the spot and recovered it. In another incident, an unidentified body was found at a plot in the Swaroop Nagar area of outer north Delhi Sunday. The body was estimated to be around two to three days old. Police reached the spot after receiving information and recovered the body, which was in a decomposed state. The deceased has not yet been identified. Police teams are checking local records to establish the identity of the person.
