The department of tourism organised a colourful programme, ‘Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang,’ at the Netaji Indoor Stadium on Tuesday
In a social media post, Ghosh said: “A glorious journey of 25 years of dedication, sacrifice, and tireless public service by Prime Minister Narendra Modi . The light of that service has spread from the 750 districts across the country to all 23 districts of West Bengal.
Tourism minister Shankar Ghosh said the event, ‘Sebar Ronge Desher Songe’, was part of the month-long Seva Sankalpa Abhiyan, which features a series of programmes. We will organise different kinds of events centering around ‘Alpana’,” Ghosh said. “A section of our country believes that imitating the West is a sign of progress. Our Prime Minister believes that we, as Indians, should feel proud of the country’s tradition and culture. Carrying the commitment to stand by the people, the ideal of selfless service, and the dream of a developed India in our hearts, the ‘Seba Jyoti Yatra’ will continue its forward journey.”
