Agartala : Tripura CM Manik Saha on Thursday instructed secretaries and directors to formulate 100-day action plans for all viable investment projects and asked the chief secretary to conduct monthly reviews of their progress. He stressed the need to swiftly ground investment proposals received at the Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026, held in July, saying the projects should generate employment and boost economic growth. More than 158 concept notes and detailed project proposals have been submitted, with various departments currently assessing them. As many as 458 MoUs, involving investments of over Rs 1.30 lakh crore, were executed during the conclave.

Saha said each investment proposal should have clear targets and timelines for execution. He said the primary objective of attracting investments was to elevate the state’sGSDP, create jobs and promote socio-economic development. CM reiterated the need to project Tripura as a major investment and industrial hub, with focus on tourism, healthcare, education, skill development, information technology, renewable energy, agriculture and food processing, fisheries, dairy, livestock, and electric vehicle charging. He directed officials to expedite the resolution of land, power and infrastructure-related issues to facilitate project implementation.
