Wormwood Synergy Hotels is set to invest around Rs 80 crore to significantly expand its footprint in eastern India, aiming to double its hotel properties from five to ten by 2027
The company is also preparing to open its hotel in Siliguri in December 2026, strengthening its presence in north Bengal and catering to leisure travellers, transit guests and business visitors. Wormwood Synergy Hotels is also evaluating a 70-room property in Mandarmani, proposed with a large banquet facility to cater to weekend travellers, family holidays, destination weddings, social events and corporate gatherings. West Bengal is a key focus area in the company’s expansion roadmap. Construction has already commenced on its upcoming property in Shantiniketan, a destination known for its cultural heritage and growing domestic tourism appeal. The development is expected to combine accommodation and event infrastructure to serve the growing demand for organised hospitality and group travel experiences.
