BENGALURU: An IndiGo flight from Doha to Bengaluru was diverted to Muscat on Thursday after one of the operating crew members required urgent medical attention.

“We regret the inconvenience caused to our customers and are making all efforts to minimise it, including offering refreshments and timely updates as they wait for the aircraft at Muscat,” the airline said. IndiGo said the safety of its customers, crew and aircraft remains its top priority. The airline arranged an alternate aircraft and a new set of crew to continue the journey to Bengaluru. Flight 6E 1302, operating on the Doha-Bengaluru route on September 3, was diverted to Muscat, where the crew member was attended to by a medical team after landing.
The crew member is now feeling better, IndiGo said.
