The Dasara flower show at Kupanna Park in Mysuru on Monday
As the horticultural department used around three to four lakh flowers for the show, some flowers started to wither due to the scorching heat, which the horticulture department staff have replaced with fresh flowers.
Speaking to TOI, joint director of horticulture Roopashri said that the department arranged for regular misting and sprinkling of water to avoid withering.
