Mangaluru: Heavy rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, lashed Dakshina Kannada district on Monday morning, leading to the complete damage of a house struck by lightning at Anedadda in Ajjibettu village of Bantwal taluk.
Due to the impact of the strike, the rooftiles, walls and window glass shattered, causing extensive damage to the house.
