Speaking at the inauguration of an expansion of the Chennai Metro, Vijay said the proposed corridor would be South India’s first inter-state metro link and benefit both states. “I also take this opportunity to request you to grant approval for the inter-state metro line from Hosur in Tamil Nadu to Bommasandra in Karnataka, for the benefit of both states,” Vijay said, with Modi seated beside him on the stage.
