Nashik : An Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team allegedly unearthed assets worth Rs 5.2 crore during searches at the home of Jalgaon Zilla Parishad sub-divisional engineer Satish Shisode, who was arrested on Nov 2 along with another person on charges of accepting a Rs 10,000 bribe to clear road concreting bills.
ACB officials said searches at Shisode’s residence and bank lockers recovered cash, property and valuables worth Rs 5.2 crore. The seizure included Rs 7.9 lakh in cash, two residential properties in Adarsh Nagar valued at Rs 45 lakh and Rs 65 lakh, and household assets worth Rs 24 lakh. Further inspections at his Jalgaon Sahakari Bank locker revealed gold, silver and platinum ornaments valued at Rs 3.8 crore.
