Olympia Coffee House in Colaba had its food licence suspended due to hygiene violations
As part of state’s festive-season campaign, a stock of milk and dairy products worth Rs 7,38,230 were seized across the state.
With regard to the licence suspension of Olympia Coffee House, FDA officials said “During the suspension period, the establishment has been directed to cease all activities relating to the purchase, preparation, storage, sale, and distribution of food. FDA told the press. MUMBAI: Olympia Coffee House in Colaba had its food licence suspended with immediate effect following a consumer complaint that flagged hygiene violations. On inspection, food safety officers found a urinal inside the food storage area, an infestation of cockroaches and flies, and unhygienic food preparation practices.
