Nagpur: Police have filed a case against a man for allegedly molesting his 11-year-old niece at Bajirao Street near Nura Chowk, within Tehsil police station limits.

Police said the girl told her father that her maternal uncle had called her on the pretext of playing and touched her inappropriately. Police said the accused lives in rented accommodation and is engaged in private business. Her father lodged a complaint, following which police registered a case under relevant sections of the POCSO Act . He has not been arrested. A police team visited the spot.
