Nagpur: Rupashree Patle (21), working at a hospital in Dighori Naka, was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Pardi flyover on Tuesday. Rupashree had left home for her duty on her scooter when a vehicle allegedly rammed her from behind and fled the spot.
A passerby dialled 112 and alerted police, following which Kalamna police reached the spot. Kalamna police have registered an offence of causing death due to negligence. Rupashree was taken to Mayo Hospital, where she was declared dead. Her body was sent for post-mortem. Police are examining CCTV footage of the area to trace the vehicle and eventually identify the killer driver. Download the TOI App.
