Highlighting govt’s rural welfare initiatives, Fadnavis said direct financial assistance had already been transferred to the accounts of over 12.5 lakh farmers and would eventually be extended to 50 lakh beneficiaries. In a major relief measure, the CM said govt had waived more than Rs 58,000 crore in outstanding electricity dues owed by farmers and assured that there would be no future recovery of the waived amount. The CM further announced plans to power the entire complex through solar energy, positioning it as a model of sustainable and self-reliant development.

We will ensure that not even a scratch comes upon them,” Fadnavis said, while addressing a religious gathering organised by Ramgiri Maharaj at Rahata in Ahilyanagar district. He said a comprehensive master plan was being implemented to transform the pilgrimage site into a major spiritual destination in Maharashtra. “Guided by spiritual strength, our govt remains committed to the welfare of every section of society,” Fadnavis added.

“In recent times, Sant Ramgiri Maharaj has received threats from anti-social elements. Govt will not tolerate any attempt to intimidate or harm spiritual leaders. Anyone issuing threats will face stringent action. Fadnavis also outlined a series of development projects being undertaken at Sarla Bet, the spiritual centre headed by Ramgiri Maharaj. He also reiterated govt’s commitment to providing free electricity to farmers and expanding uninterrupted daytime power supply across the state.
