Bus Overturns in Gadchiroli, Injuring 38 Passengers
At least 38 passengers sustained injuries when a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus overturned on Thursday. The incident occurred as the bus was en route from Gadchiroli to Chamorshi, near Shivni village. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver lost control of the vehicle after the steering wheel unexpectedly locked. Emergency services responded to the scene to assist the injured passengers.
The bus, bearing registration number MH 06 8848, overturned on the roadside, leaving several passengers injured. All 38 injured passengers were taken to the Gadchiroli District General Hospital for treatment. Of them, 31 sustained minor injuries, while seven suffered serious injuries and required medical attention.

Preliminary information suggested that the sudden locking of the steering mechanism caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
