Thrissur/Kozhikode: CPM general secretary M A Baby said on Wednesday that the rectification measures initiated by the party had created conditions conducive for the return of those who had deserted CPM at various times for different reasons.
Baby said even the national leadership will not be spared from these rectification measures. “If we failed individually to discharge our responsibilities as national leaders, we will also be criticised by our committees and appropriate corrections will be undertaken,” he said.
Sources said CPM may bring back some leaders, who had been sidelined, into organisational committees as part of the corrective exercise.
