Tragic Fire Claims Multiple Lives in Family
A devastating fire has resulted in the deaths of several family members in Gurgaon. Among the deceased are Premlata (70), her son Vivek (47), daughter-in-law Tarjani (42), and granddaughter Varya, affectionately called Pearl (16). Vivek’s elder granddaughter Jivisha, known as Angel (20), had just arrived from Bengaluru hours before the incident.
Also among the victims are Premlata’s sister Kamla (52), brother Ashok (56), and brother-in-law Jhaveri, who had come from Kishangarh in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district. Relatives noted that the trio had intended to leave earlier but were persuaded to stay longer with the family.
Vivek served as the chief financial officer of a private insurtech company. Tarjani, a former beauty pageant title-holder, was employed at an event management firm. Angel was pursuing a BTech degree, while Pearl was a Class 12 student at DPS Gurgaon.
