MEERUT: An 11-year-old boy and his seven-year-old sibling went missing from their home in Hastinapur, Meerut, on Sunday after being inspired by a ‘Secret House’ game video on YouTube, police said on Monday. The children, residents of B-Block colony in Hastinapur, had left home on Sunday afternoon to attempt a ’24-hour challenge’, setting up a base at a secluded spot near a farmhouse, police said. In the game, players build and hide inside a secret hidden base for a period of 24 hours while following certain rules, police said.
Circle Officer (Mawana) Pankaj Lavania said police and the ‘Mission Shakti’ team launched a search and safely recovered the children within about two hours.
