Further investigation is underway, and appropriate legal action will be taken based on the evidence gathered during the probe,” Bhatnagar said. The group then allegedly assaulted Nishu, leaving him with a serious head injury. He collapsed, following which his family reached the spot. With the help of local residents, they took him to GS Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
