23yo woman found dead with throat slit; cash, jewellery missing
The woman was found in a pool of blood around 7 am by Fateh Singh, a resident of Jai-Jairam locality, who had gone to the roof of the tubewell room on his agricultural land to feed birds.
Police said preliminary information suggested that the woman had left home after allegedly giving her sister a sedative. Kasganj SP OP Singh said, “Police are examining her phone, contacts and movements, while CCTV footage is being analysed to trace her last known movements. He alerted police, following which forensic and dog squads were deployed. The family later found the cash and jewellery missing. The body has been sent for post-mortem.”
Agra : A 23-year-old woman was found murdered with her throat slit on the roof of a tubewell room in an agricultural field, around one km from her house in Kasganj district, on Wednesday morning. Her family said around Rs 3 lakh in cash and jewellery were missing. Their mother said she woke up around 2 am and found the woman missing.
Her elder sister was scheduled to get married in October,” family members said. The family searched for her but could not find her. “The woman was the youngest of six siblings.
The woman had been sleeping with her elder sister on Tuesday night, according to the family.
