Barred from school, Class 10 student posts suicide threat video
Bijnor : A 16-year-old Class 10 student from Kiratpur police station area posted a video on social media threatening to die by suicide within two days, over allegations of a “romantic relationship” with a teacher. SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi said, “There was no romantic relationship angle in the matter. In the widely circulated video addressed to the Bijnor district administration, the student alleged that the school management had barred him from entering for several days. Denying the rumors, the student stated that the teacher was like a mother to him and that the false accusations had caused him severe mental distress, holding both the school and the teacher responsible if he took the extreme step. Following police intervention and discussions with the school management, his expulsion was revoked and he was readmitted. An investigation found that the student had indulged in acts of indiscipline, following which the school administration expelled him. The matter has now been resolved.”
