Lucknow: Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT) police have registered an FIR against four persons in connection with the death of a merchant navy student who allegedly sustained critical injuries after falling into a swimming pool at a college in Rampur Behra, under the BKT area of Lucknow.
On July 19 midnight, a person from the college telephoned the family, informing them that Sudhanshu’s condition had deteriorated after he fell into the swimming pool and sustained injuries. The family was informed that he had been admitted to trauma centre.
The deceased, identified as Sudhanshu Tiwari, had enrolled at CMET College on July 1, 2026.. He accused four college personnel of negligence and demanded an investigation into the circumstances under which his son sustained injuries, leading to his death. The FIR was registered late on Friday on the complaint of deceased’s father Navnath Tiwari, a resident of Gauriganj, Amethi.
