IAF corporal, 35, found dead on rly track in Agra
Agra : A 35-year-old Indian Air Force corporal was found dead on a railway track near Achhnera in Agra on Thursday, with police suspecting that he may have fallen from a moving train. The incident was reported around 9am when railway staff at Achhnera station informed the govt railway police (GRP) about a body lying on the tracks.
GRP SP Anil Kumar Jha said, “Achhnera GRP outpost had prepared the panchnama and legal proceedings were underway.” GRP and local police teams reached the spot and took the body into custody. < Naina Ram, a resident of Rajasthan, was travelling to Prayagraj with his wife and two children on Jodhpur-Howrah Express. He was identified through an identity card and a ticket found on him. Police are probing the circumstances leading to the fall. The possibility of suicide is also being examined.
As GRP started its probe, the deceased’s family was alerted. They deboarded the train at Tundla station and came to the spot where the accident happened. They were also questioned.
