The export was facilitated by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), under the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh govt. Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that this export of liquid glucose represents a significant achievement toward expanding the state’s processed food export sector, diversifying export products, and increasing Uttar Pradesh’s participation in global markets. This would provide new export opportunities for the state’s food processing industries and further strengthen the state’s export capacity. This consignment, exported by Kanpur-based H.L. Agro Products Private Limited, will reach Vietnam from the Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Kanpur, transiting via the Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT) in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. BL Meena, chairman of the Board of Revenue, Uttar Pradesh, and additional chief secretary of the department of horticulture and food processing, Govt of Uttar Pradesh, flagged off an export consignment while providing instructions via a virtual link from the Board of Revenue in Lucknow.
