Lucknow: The state govt transferred 34 IAS officers in a late night reshuffle on Monday and appointed 14 new district magistrates.
Among the new DMs are five IAS officers of the 2017 batch — Shashank Chaudhary of Amethi, Divyanshu Patel of Baghpat, Prabhas Kumar of Mahoba, , Anuj Malik of Sant Kabir Nagar, M Arunmozhi as new DM Etah. Himanshu Kaushik is the new commissioner of Moradabad Municipal Corporation. Six officers of special secretary rank were also given new roles, including Asmita Lal as special secretary Backward Class Welfare, Abhishek Goyal as special secretary Appointment and Personnel, Nidhi Srivastava as special secretary State Tax, Arvind Singh as special secretary Food and Logistics, and Rajendra Pensiya as special secretary Revenue. Mangla Prasad Singh has been posted as MD of UP Sahkari Chini Mills Sangh Ltd while Vishal Kumar is the new CEO of the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority. Jitendra Pratap Singh will join as Director, UP State Agriculture Produce Mandi Parishad while Jasjeet Kaur will take charge as MD, UP Electronics Corporation. Vijay Kumar is the new vice-chairperson of Agra Development Authority while Shailendra Bhatia has been posted as additional CEO UPEIDA.
