Kanpur : A dumper conductor died while the driver was injured after their speeding vehicle rammed into a stationary dumper on Bundelkhand Expressway in Auraiya on Friday night.
After being alerted, Dial 112 personnel, UPEIDA officials and teams from the Achhalda and Kudarkot police stations reached the site. Conductor Monu Yadav (30) died on the spot, while driver Anuj Yadav (35) was taken to CHC Bharthana for treatment. After sustained efforts, the trapped occupants were pulled out. The accident caused a long traffic jam on the expressway. Police moved the damaged dumper to the roadside and subsequently cleared the congestion. Download the TOI App.
