Reena Rajput has decided to end her engagement to 75-year-old Ram Sughar after reconciling with her estranged husband
In a video, Reena, 30, said she would remain with her husband and children and return to her previous life.
In an earlier report, TOI reported that Ram Sughar, a resident of Ariyari village in Auraiya’s Sahar area, said Reena had been visiting his home for around two years and that their relationship had gradually grown stronger.
Reena said her husband had left her amid serious family tensions and she had received no support during that period. However, she also said in the latest video that she had staged the engagement with Ram Sughar at Radha’s urging. His daughter Radha, a YouTube content creator, said Reena regularly visited their home and that they worked together on video content. Reena and Ram Sughar developed affection for each other over time, according to Radha. The families had said they were preparing for a traditional wedding after the Navratri festivities, though a date had not been finalised.
She attributed her decision to his return, their reconciliation and opposition from her family, and asked people not to trouble her over the matter.
